DESCRIPTION

The fundamental task of every manager is the development of their people. On this journey, coaching skills are crucial and require continuous effort.
In this module, we will focus on developing coaching skills that facilitate communication, create better relationships, and thereby enhance the engagement of individuals and teams.

PURPOSE

The Coaching Skills module focuses on raising awareness and developing leaders in one of the four fundamental skills of every manager—people development.
The purpose is to familiarise participants with the basic coaching skills, ways to establish and build relationships, and how to ask supportive questions. Coaching skills have direct application in daily work, the feedback process, and performance evaluation. Participants will have the opportunity to practice giving feedback on performance in a safe environment, using the coaching tools they will acquire through this module.
After this module, participants will have concrete tools for more successful conversations with colleagues and will be able to recognise when third-party assistance is needed for the further development of employees.
