DESCRIPTION

Motivation is the most important element of success and a personal characteristic that is almost impossible to measure. The skill lies in recognising the motivation of potential employees as well as maintaining the motivation of existing ones.

Successful management of motivation requires an understanding of people, their needs, and the motivations behind those needs.

PURPOSE

Through this module, participants will become aware of their own motivators in relation to those of their colleagues and distinguish between the need for a job and the motivators that drive action beyond expected limits.
Leadership style influences employee motivation, engagement, team connectivity, and business results. Through illustrative practical examples, effective management styles for good motivation and employee engagement will be experienced and practiced.
The module will also introduce the concept of GRIT as a good measure of motivation and success, as well as the distinction between power and authority.
